Inspiration comes in many forms: a brief image while letting my mind wander, a line from a song or book, something funny a friend says, or even an interpretation on a pre-existing image the sources are too numerous to list. I'll work with what I have at hand. I may have no other choice in the matter, regardless I'm happy with it if prone to a little supply envy now and then. If I tried to list the artists I admire not only would I run out of room but I'd eventually find I left someone vital out. Fellanora does picture trades.
